EasyKids Gallery is an app that lets you setup a photo gallery which your small kids/toddlers can swipe through by themselves. The app is built to work in combination with the iOS "Guided Access" mode to prevent your kid from accidentally messing around with other apps on your device.

Im a dad who created this app for his daughter when she was about one and a half years old. While I didnt want to give the device to her at first, children obviously are interested in what their parents are using. What she really liked to do is to look at the photos on my iPhone and also use her fingers to swipe through the gallery. Obviously, when touching the screen, kids will accidentally close the app, open others, change settings, etc. When the screen is off, they will activate the phone and enter the wrong PIN. Something you really dont want to happen too often.

iOS offers a feature called "Guided Access" which allows you to temporarily restrict your iPhone to a single app. However, the default photos app in iOS is still way to complicated for a small kid to play around with.

This EasyKids Gallery app is a solution for that. It does only one thing: You can create a photo gallery from the existing photos on your device. When you activate Guided Access mode for this app, the layout automatically switches to a more restricted view which only shows one of your selected photos at a time and allows to swipe left and right to get to the previous or next photo. Nothing else.

Please note the following:
* The app only works in combination with the iOS Guided Access mode which can be configured in the iOS settings. This is a standard feature of iOS.
* When activating the Guided Access mode, make sure to remember how and with which code to deactivate it again. Otherwise you might lock yourself out of your device.
* You are responsible for how you use the Guided Access mode and if you want to give the device to your kid.

Some notes on the app itself:
* The app works completely offline on your device, so you dont need to create an account and there is no transfer of data to any servers, etc.
* You pay for the app once. Theres no subscription or any additional in-app purchases.
